Science

At Lawley Village Academy we know that Science helps us to understand the world around us by:          

• explaining how things work
• helping us to predict how things will behave
• and helping us to work out why things have happened

Through the study of science we want our pupils to: be enthusiastic about and enjoy science; be able to articulate what science is; see themselves as scientists; understand the important role science has in world development; be exposed to a diverse range of scientists and specialist areas; and be aware of the exciting career opportunities available in STEM industries.
